The All-New 2018 BMW X2
BMW has added another model to their already strong lineup. The new X2 is based on the current X1 platform which was originally derived from the Mini Countryman. No matter where this new model started out, it’s a hit. AutoGeekz was given the opportunity to drive this compact crossover BMW. BMW had a clear vision when they set out to make this new model, and it’s evident in how this sporty crossover drives. It’s fun, responsive and reminiscent of an earlier time in BMW’s history. We drove the M-Sport X and the suspension was spot-on, the steering feels crisp and precise (unlike the F30) and it put a smile on all of our faces. With all the BMW’s we’ve driven recently, this one may be the most exciting. No it’s not the fastest or best handling but it gives us hope that BMW has listened to the enthusiast community and has started to make changes to their steering calibration if nothing else. This is one can you need to drive!
This stunning 1968 BMW 2002ti is on display at the BMW museum in Munich. 2002’s are getting harder to find in good condition here in the U.S. and their seem to be on the rise. Love this color and the rally style driving lights on the front bumper. @werautogeekz #bmw2002 #bmw2002ti #vintagebmw #bmwlife
We had a chance to get an up-close look at the new 2018 BMW M550xi. This beast sounds awesome! The dealer didn’t have time to get it prepped for us so we couldn’t drive it yet. Check back for our full review and test-drive. #bmwlife #bmwporn #bmwm550 #bmwlove #autogeekz @werautogeekz #mperformance
We had an awesome day at the BMW Group VDC. BMW was kind enough to give a full tour of the facility but we had to put our cameras and phones away. So unfortunately this is the only picture we have from our day at this incredible facility. The 2018 BMW 760Li in matte gray was our favorite car on the tour followed closely by the M4 GTS and a Rolls Royce Ghost black edition. Thanks BMW
This 2015 BMW X1 35i is a total sleeper. Based on the venerable E90 platform, the E84 with an N55 is highly underrated. In M-Sport trim this car handles exceptionally well, has plenty of power, but best of all it has huge potential. This X1 above is Full-Bolt-On (FBO) plus water/meth injection to achieve low 12’s in the quarter. I’ve personally seen it gap modified E90 M3’s and a ton of unsuspecting performance cars. Cheers to BMW on this car. Shame they sunsetted this combo in the new X1 but there’s obviously no place for the N55 in the transverse world of a Mini Countryman.
This guy passed me like I was standing still. Gapped by a guy with a Deathwish! Well, not really. I slowed down to let him go by me but he did pass me going 90+ at one point then slowed way down until I passed him. Then we he started speeding up again I took this video. Crazy!
This low mileage E46 M3 in Jet black makes a serious statement. Some people at AutoGeekz think the E46 is the best bodystyle in the M3 lineup. I’m one of those people.
This M4 was at BimmerFest East 2016. Not a big fan of the M-Stripes but it had some great accessories on it. Check out the carbon-fiber front splitters and black kidney grills. This car also had the carbon fiber rear diffuser which in my opion looks the best on white cars. BMW NA brought some pretty cool cars with them this year. I’m looking forward to Bimmer Fest East 2017. Hope to see you there!
This limited edition E92 M3 in Frozen Blue is a real head-turner. The matte blue paint looks amazing with the black interior and black rims. I need one of these….LOL.
I spotted this fine example of a BMW Isetta in the BMW Museum in Munich Germany. This room only had two cars in it. The other car was an orange 2002tii. I’ll post a picture of that one in the near future. I love this little car. It’s just cool. Thanks for looking!
